TPC to Roll Out 65 Pickleball Facilities Across Canada

TPC Development Corporation plans to roll out 65 pickleball facilities across Canada.

The company announced that it has expanded its investor group and leadership team as part of the effort. TPC has also secured a multi-million-dollar capital infusion as part of the rollout.

The pickleball facilities will be franchised outlets bearing the Picklr brand. According to TPC, Picklr is North America’s fastest-growing indoor pickleball franchise.

About 500 Picklr facilities are in development across Canada, the U.S., Japan and other international markets.

The first Canadian Picklr facility is slated to open in Winnipeg in October.

Greg Fettes, a Winnipeg-based entrepreneur and founder of IntouchCX, is leading the equity round.

“I’ve become an enthusiastic supporter and pickleball player, and I see the massive opportunity available to The Picklr to empower Canadian entrepreneurs to bring this incredibly fun, fast-growing sport to communities from coast to coast,” said Fettes. “With our first club opening in Q4 in my hometown of Winnipeg, I couldn’t be more excited to help lead this expansion and build the pickleball community across Canada.”

TPC’s expanded leadership team includes Chief Development Officer Mark Arndt. Meanwhile, Troy Buchanan, a Colliers senior vice-president, will serve as Canadian master broker and Daria Lukie, a Colliers associate, will hold the same title.
