Tracy Taylor is the managing director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Calgary office.

She oversees the strategic direction and performance of all service lines, including asset management, valuations and advisory, project development services, and brokerage operations in office, industrial, retail, and investment sales.

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Taylor has a comprehensive understanding of the industry, having worked across occupier, agent, and owner perspectives. She began her career at a regional manufacturing company, where she gained valuable insight into the facility needs of industrial occupiers. Inspired by her father’s success in development, Taylor pivoted to commercial real estate, focusing on industrial sales and leasing.

Over a five-year span, she represented tenants, landlords, purchasers, and developers before moving to the investor side as a leasing manager with a local developer and landowner. During the next decade, she advanced to asset and leasing manager, and eventually, vice-president.

Taylor returned to Cushman’s brokerage division in 2015 and, by 2017, had stepped into her current role as managing director of the Calgary office, where she continues to lead and shape its operations.

These are just some of the reasons why Taylor has received a 2024 Canadian Women in Real Estate Award.
