Tribute Communities and Secure Capital are proposing to build a 14-tower condominium mixed-use redevelopment project in Pickering, Ont.

Tribute, Secure Propose 14-Tower GTA Condo Project

Tribute Communities and Secure Capital plan to redevelop a Greater Toronto Area shopping centre as a 14-tower condominium mixed-use project.

The companies have submitted a development application to the City of Pickering to overhaul Brookdale Centre. Most of the strip mall would be demolished while one portion is included in the redevelopment.

The condo towers would stand 17 to 35 storeys and contain 5,238 units. If all goes according to plan, the redevelopment will include about 77,000 square feet of retail space, along with approximately 7,700 sf slated for use as a daycare.

Amenities would include public and park spaces.
