Trimac Moves into New Calgary HQ

Trucking firm Trimac has moved into new corporate headquarters in downtown Calgary.

The company relocated into about 15,000 square feet of Allied REIT-owned space at the corner of 11th Avenue and Second Street S.W. The move from the city’s northeast quadrant consolidated three floors into one.

“Collaborating with reknown architectural firm Kasian, Trimac transformed its corporate head office workspace into a dynamic, activity-based environment aligned with its hybrid workplace model for corporate employees,” Trimac said in a news release.

The new downtown head office is closer to rapid transit than the former location and provides proximity to Trimac truckline and National Tank Services branch located in the city’s southeast.

The new office features banquette and tiered seating, small tables for informal work and huddle rooms for technology-intensive tasks. The interior design integrates the history of Trimac, which has grown from a small Saskatchewan family-owned trucking firm founded in 1945 into one of North America’s largest transportation and services companies.
