T&T Opens New 220,000-SF Warehouse in GTA
T&T Supermarket has opened a new warehouse in the Greater Toronto Area.
The new warehouse is located in Scarborough, Ont., and spans 220,000 square feet, Canadian Grocer reported.
T&T CEO Tina Lee said in various social media posts that the warehouse will enable Canada’s largest Asian grocer to serve more customers and open more stores in Brossard, Que., Kanata, Ont., Toronto and London, Ont. Lee told Canadian Grocer that T&T will open four new stores in those markets this year.
“We’ve been busting at the seams at our old warehouse for a long time,” Lee wrote on Instagram.
The new facility lies near a Canada Post distribution centre and Amazon warehouse.
Richmond, B.C.-based T&T is a subsidiary of Loblaws, which is affiliated with the George Weston Company. T&T operates in Canada and the U.S.
