Veteran Broker Morin Launches New Company
Veteran commercial real estate broker Marc Morin has launched a new Ottawa-based company after winding down an old one.
Seva Commercial is slated to specialize in industrial and office property brokerage. The company name draws on ancient teachings about living a life of contribution, purpose and generosity, Morin explained while announcing the launch on LinkedIn.
“My focus remains on serving private investors; professionals, entrepreneurs and families, as well as real estate investment companies run by principals who create opportunities for individual investors,” wrote Morin in the LinkedIn post.
He previously owned and operated Ottawa-based Koble Commercial Real Estate & Brokerage with Graeme Webster. After the two closed down Koble, Webster joined Avison Young as a Principal and formed the company’s new Ottawa capital markets team with former Koble colleagues Benjamin Burns and Jessica Thalen.
Morin told the Ottawa Business Journal that Seva will focus on sales transactions and stay away from lease deals.
