Well Health Clinic Network has agreed to acquire all 10 of Shoppers Drug Mart’s primary health clinics in Canada.

The clinics are located in urban centres in Ontario and B.C. The sites are currently named the Health Clinic by Shoppers but will be rebranded under the Well Clinic label once the deal closes.

The portfolio contains six clinics in urban centres in Ontario and four in B.C. The Ontario locations are in Toronto, Ottawa and Whitby. The B.C. sites are located in the Vancouver area.

Altogether, the clinics have 35 physicians on staff.

Vancouver-based Well Health Clinic Network is a subsidiary of Well Health Technologies. The parent firm describes itself as a digital healthcare firm focused on positively impacting health outcomes by leveraging technology to empower healthcare practitioners and their patients globally.
