Yadlowski to Lead Avison Young in Calgary

Brennan Yadlowski will become the managing director of Avison Young’s Calgary office in January.

The appointment marks a promotion for Yadlowski, who has risen quickly during his six years in the commercial real estate industry. For the past four years, he has led Avison Young’s mortgage advisory team in Calgary. He spent the first two years of his career within the firm’s capital markets and mortgage practices in his hometown of Edmonton.

“Brennan was quickly identified as a leader with incredible potential,” said Mark Fieder, Avison Young’s president for Canada, in a news release. “He’s a dynamic team player, a champion of the use of technology in real estate, and a strategic, long-term thinker.”

Before entering the industry, Yadlowski spent a season playing professional hockey with the Guildford Flames in Britain’s top league.

He will succeed Todd Throndson, who will remain with Avison Young in Calgary and focus on mentoring up-and-coming professionals. Throndson has been with Avison Young for 36 years.
