John Halloran

Vice President of Creative & Marketing

John Halloran is Vice President of Creative and Marketing for Connect Creative, where he works with leadership to shape and grow the vision for the firm’s varied creative campaigns. John brings more than 25 years of real estate marketing experience, having guided multifaceted creative campaigns on behalf of some of the nation’s leading real estate firms – from commercial and retail to multifamily and hospitality.

In this role, John works with client leaders and Connect’s dynamic creative and media relations talent to develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns that are precisely tailored to client goals. Benefitting from Connect CRE’s robust news and content platforms, our client teams utilize industry-leading tools, technologies, and market data to ensure all campaigns are remarkably targeted, impactful, and especially attuned to their audience.

Prior to Connect, John was director of creative services and public relations at Macy + Associates, one of the leading real estate marketing firms in California. Early in his tenure he was responsible for establishing and growing the in-house creative team that was winner of numerous awards. As its leader, he spearheaded successful creative marketing campaigns on behalf of industry leaders including CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Equity Residential, Equity Office, EJME, LBA Realty, Diamond Realty Investments, and more. Memorable campaigns include the brand development and introduction of the NoMa District in Washington DC, and the market introduction of the W Hollywood Hotel & Residences, where he collaborated with Jimmy Kimmel Live’s production team to host a Depeche Mode concert on Hollywood Blvd attended by more than 15,000.

A native Californian, John began his career at advertising agency Della Femina McNamee in Los Angeles, where he worked in media and client services. He enjoys reading, hiking, fishing, and the outdoors.
