Altree to Develop Twin 43-Storey Multi-Res Towers in Toronto
Altree Developments has submitted a revised proposal to the City of Toronto to redevelop 1705 Weston Road with two 43-storey residential towers, Urban Toronto reported.
The updated plan expands on a previously approved 2025 application that featured a single 43-storey building, adding a second tower of equal height. The project, designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects, reflects growing development intensity near the Weston GO/UP Express station, an area increasingly targeted for higher-density housing, according to Urban Toronto.
The resubmission also underscores a broader trend of transit-oriented development in Toronto, as developers seek to maximize land use around key transportation hubs.
Founded by Zev Mandelbaum, Altree is a Toronto-based development company focused on acquiring and developing residential lands in the Greater Toronto Area and the U.S.,
