Cedar Coast Planning Major Langley Mall Revamp

Cedar Coast is planning a major overhaul of its Langley Mall in suburban Vancouver.

The local development and investment company has filed a development application with the City of Langley that calls for the construction of 10 buildings that include a combination of multi-residential, office and retail units.

If all goes according to plan, 1,900 new homes will be created. The buildings are slated to have maximum heights of 14 storeys and be constructed over the next 10 to 20 years.

Cedar Coast owns the mall. Another local firm, Orion Construction, is collaborating on the expansion project, which is slated to be placed around the main mall site at 5501 204th Street and a standalone Tim Hortons donut shop at 20300 Douglas Crescent.

Cedar Coast and Orion recently broke ground on a new 400,000-square-foot industrial park development project in the Vancouver suburb of Mission, B.C.

Cedar Coast is a development and investment firm. The 22-year-old company. The company has 33 active light-industrial development projects throughout British Columbia, Oregon, Washington and North Dakota.

Orion is a leading design-build contractor whose projects include industrial and multi-family real estate developments.
