Intentional Capital Selling Toronto Strata Workspaces

Intentional Capital is marketing strata workspaces in Toronto.

Usually a multi-residential real estate developer, Intentional is developing the four-storey, 40-unit Geary Factory Lofts. Located along Geary Avenue, the site is a former button factory.

The units, which Intentional describes as corporate condos, are targeted towards entrepreneurs, creative firms and small-business owners, who can design the spaces according to their needs. Toronto-based Intentional is looking to capitalize on the success of similar projects in markets like New York and Vancouver where, the company says, soaring rents have tipped the scale in favour of ownership.

“As a real estate development, Geary Factory Lofts is keeping with the spirit and community of Geary Avenue, while giving entrepreneurs and business owners a way to build corporate equity and financial leverage,” said Rod Bell, Intentional’s managing director, in a news release. “Small business owners are often priced-out of the communities and workspaces that they helped to build.

“But with ownership, that risk evaporates.”
