Marsales Becomes First Woman to Head Canadian Brokerage Operation
Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Allison Marsales to lead its Canadian brokerage segment.
Marsales becomes the first woman to head a national brokerage operation in Canada. Starting October 1, she will serve as the company’s president of advisory for the country.
Marsales has served as Cushman & Wakefield’s Toronto central managing principal since joining the firm in 2018 from Dream Office REIT, where she served as leasing director.
“She has an extensive understanding of the commercial real estate and broader business-community landscape as well as our own operations and priorities,” said Victoria Malkin, Cushman & Wakefield’s Central region president, in a news release. ” I look forward to continuing to partner closely with Allison on our Canada Advisory business to drive a strategy that best serves our people, clients and communities.”
Marsales has two decades of commercial real estate brokerage, landlord and leadership experience. She replaces Chuck Scott, the company’s CEO for Canada, who intends to leave the firm in December to pursue other interests.
