Named CBRE Canada's 2013 Rookie of the Year

“To me, Katie stands out as a leader, someone who is willing to help support others and lead the way for women in the real estate industry,” writes the colleague who nominated her.

As a vice-president in CBRE’s Calgary office, Sapieha provides office leasing and sales advisory services while specializing in portfolio management, landlord representation, platform services, local tenant representation, and owner-user acquisitions and dispositions. Her background includes eight years of industrial real estate leasing and sales experience.

Sapieha earned CBRE Canada’s Rookie of the Year award in 2013, when she was also a member of the company’s Team of the Year, in addition to winning the team award again in 2019.

Outside of CBRE, Sapieha is the mother of two adorable children and is on the board of both NAIOP’s Calgary chapter and the Toni Kohn Woodward Foundation, which provides financial, educational, social and healthy-lifestyle-management support to young women (ages 14-24) at risk of living on the street.
