Andrée Roy serves as the managing director of real estate capital La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ.)

CDPQ is a pension fund manager that ranks among the largest institutional real estate investors in Canada and the world.

She manages the organization’s real estate finance activities across Canada and the U.K. She has held increasingly senior roles over her decade-long tenure with CDPQ, spanning positions at both Cadim and Otéra Capital, now part of CDPQ. Her work has encompassed origination, underwriting, portfolio management, syndication, and strategy.

Before joining CDPQ, she was the regional director of real estate financing for Eastern Canada at Royal Bank. She began her career with Sun Life Financial as a senior inspector in commercial mortgages. Throughout her extensive career, she has gained experience with major banks, life insurance companies, and pension funds, financing billions in real estate transactions.

Based in Montreal during her entire career, she is actively engaged in Quebec’s financial sector and is frequently invited to participate as an industry expert at commercial real estate conferences. Known for her ability to connect people, build businesses, and manage risk, she is a respected leader in the field.
