As Principal, Senior Vice President and Practice Lead, Capital Markets, Marie-Claire Laflamme-Sanders develops and executes Avison Young’s capital markets growth strategy. She conducts market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, evaluates emerging service lines, and leads transformative initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Her leadership has been instrumental in positioning the Québec Capital Markets team as a dominant force in the industry. Since 2016, the team has completed over $7.5 billion in investment volume and 800 transactions.

Laflamme-Sanders joined Avison Young in 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in commercial real estate. She spent the previous nine years at JLL, where she helped expand the Capital Markets team across Québec. In her career, Laflamme-Sanders has overseen over $4 billion in investment transactions across the multifamily, office, retail and industrial sectors, demonstrating her ability to deliver results across diverse asset classes.

Laflamme-Sanders is a mentor and role model, leading and nurturing the operations team within the Capital Markets division. She also received CoStar’s annual Top Sales Award.
