Connect Canada CRE Hands Out 2025 Canadian Women in Real Estate Awards

Connect has handed out its third-annual Canadian Women in Real Estate (CWIRE) Awards.

The awards highlight women whose achievements and inspirational stories established them as key influencers in Canada’s highly competitive CRE sector. The recipients reached respected positions of leadership and play key mentorship roles for others seeking to advance the industry.

After careful consideration of numerous nominations and exceptional achievements, Connect chose this year’s National winners, as well as leaders from each of the five areas covered in our daily Canadian newsletter: The Pacific region, Alberta and the rest of the Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.

Among the National CWIRE recipients are Terri Troy and Marija Finney, who teamed up to co-found Placemorre Capital and are a closely knit team. Pacific Canada winners Jennica Palecek, a broker with Colliers, and Stephanie Yeargin, an associate vice-president with Avison Young in Vancouver, both captured their second honours from Connect. Palecek and Yeargin previously earned Canadian Next Generation Awards.

Avison Young, Colliers and CBRE are among companies that have multiple winners located across the country.
