Manages multi-billion-dollar budgets and oversees consultant teams

Leorah Klein is Northcrest’s Senior Manager of Development, where she handles major real estate development projects by managing million-dollar budgets and overseeing consultant teams. She’s also involved with defining Northcrest’s digital master plan, a strategy document encompassing digital infrastructure, governance and twins.

Klein mentors junior staff, leads by example, and drives innovation in her approach to digital strategy. She is a leader within the ULI, currently serving as Co-Chair of the WLI Championship Committee. Klein has also taught studio courses at Toronto Metropolitan University, helping the next generation of city builders combine academic theory with real-world practice. She recently served as an Advisory Committee member at Weave Community Bond Fund, a $30-million fund pooling institutional and accredited investor capital to invest in community bonds across Canada.

Klein serves as a camp counselor at Campfire Circle, has volunteered with the Canadian Olympic Committee in Rio at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and participated in other charitable initiatives.

These are just a few reasons we chose Leorah Klein as one of Connect CRE Canada’s 2025 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
