Was the lead advisor on transactions exceeding $430 million in 2024

Notable transactions include the $104 million recapitalization of a construction loan

Patrick Harris is a Cushman & Wakefield Senior Vice President based in Toronto. He is part of the Capital Markets Group and leads a team specializing in core multifamily investment sales in major Canadian primary and secondary markets. Harris was the lead advisor on some of the highest-profile commercial real estate transactions in Canada in 2024, exceeding $430 million in asset value.

Notable transactions include the $104 million recapitalization for the construction of Birchmount Green, a 220-unit affordable housing high-rise and the $68 million disposition of the Oben Flats Portfolio, which consists of two mid-rise luxury apartment buildings.

Harris regularly mentors Cushman and Wakefield’s capital markets associates and is a Toronto McGill Alumni Network board member.

Having spent considerable time and energy educating himself on the debt side of the business, Harris is as knowledgeable in CMHC loan insurance products as many debt brokers in the marketplace. This allows him to offer useful insights to clients and model exit values for purpose-built rental projects.

These are just a few reasons we chose Patrick Harris as one of Connect CRE Canada’s 2025 Next Generation Award winners. Connect CRE’s annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
