As Senior Vice President and Practice Lead for JLL Edmonton’s Value and Risk Advisory team, Alison McGavigan has built and managed a high-performing practice that provides valuation and risk advisory services across Canada. In her career, McGavigan has valued more than $30 billion in commercial real estate, with a focus on multifamily, industrial, retail, office and special-use assets.
McGavigan also demonstrates a deep commitment to leadership and service within the industry. She is a Past President of Edmonton CREW, where she championed the advancement of women in real estate and played a role in mentorship, advocacy and inclusion initiatives. She has also contributed significantly to NAIOP Edmonton, serving as the organization’s Education Chair, Treasurer and Director-at-Large, while participating as a mentor and subject matter expert for industry programs.
In the community, McGavigan has held positions on the Edmonton Historical Board, Informa Edmonton Real Estate Forum Advisory Committee and the Strathearn Community League Board of Directors. She has also served as a coach for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program.
She received numerous accolades, including NAIOP’s Developing Leaders Award and the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s “Top Female Appraiser Under 40.”
