As Partner and Chair of the Commercial Real Estate & Property Development Practice at Witten LLP, Sharon Ohayon leads transactional work involving the purchase, financing, and disposition of industrial parks, commercial office complexes, shopping centres, residential apartment buildings, hotels and mixed-use developments. Her client list includes landowners, developers, private lenders, landlords, tenants and joint ventures. Ohayon also has extensive experience in leasing, land subdivision, and development.

Ohayon contributes her expertise to various organizations, including the Law Society of Alberta’s Real Estate Practice Advisory Committee, as co-chair of the Canadian Bar Association Commercial Property & Leasing North Section, and as past President of Edmonton CREW.

An active champion of legal education, she is an instructor at the University of Alberta’s School of Business, where she teaches Legal Issues in Commercial Real Estate. Ohayon is a sought-after speaker at industry events, presenting at events hosted by the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and Edmonton CREW.

She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada and Lexpert for Real Estate Law and Commercial Leasing Law.
