Concert Properties

Serves as the company’s first female Chief Investment Officer

Helped reshape the firm’s portfolio and restructured internal teams

Lindsay Brand is Concert Properties’ first female Chief Investment Officer, joining the company in April 2024.

Owned by a consortium of labor-backed pension funds, Concert Properties is a developer and asset manager of over 5,000 multi-residential suites and 13 million square feet of commercial properties across Canada with $6.5 billion of assets under management.

Brand led a comprehensive, first-of-its-kind review of the company’s portfolio, introducing a more disciplined, forward-looking investment strategy. Her push for data-informed decisions helped improve Concert Properties’ strategic planning. One of her major accomplishments was leading the review of Concert Properties’ seniors housing portfolio.

Brand restructured the company’s investments team to improve agility and performance, brought in new leadership that aligned with her high standards and long-term goals, and launched forums to generate more strategic conversations at the executive level.

Her profile as a speaker and industry leader elevated Concert Properties’ reputation throughout the industry.

These are just some of the reasons why Connect Canada CRE honoured Lindsay Brand with a 2025 Canadian Women in Real Estate Award. The Women in Real Estate Awards celebrate the achievements and inspirational stories of women who have reached respected leadership positions and taken on mentorship roles.
