Contributes to industry's growth and development
Tracy Macdonald serves as managing director of national leasing and business development for BGO Properties.
In her role Macdonald leads the organization’s Canadian leasing teams. She holds direct responsibility for the leasing platform, policies, and guidelines across the office, industrial, and retail properties, a portfolio exceeding 60 million square feet nationwide.
She is tasked with continuing to grow BGO’s property management and leasing platform across Canada, and brings her visionary approach, expertise, and empathetic leadership to the position.
Macdonald’s colleagues praise her for strengthening BGO’s national best leasing practices from coast to coast and leveraging technological advancements to help the company gather comprehensive metrics that lead to more impactful decisions. She is also credited with seeing potential where others see limitations.
She is known for using her quick and creative mind to envision possibilities in real estate others might overlook, transforming underutilized properties into thriving, amenity-rich communities that embrace tenant experience and deliver exceptional value for owners.
Confident in action and grounded in compassion, she leads with conviction and kindness, creating a culture where people feel valued and empowered. In 2023, she was named Bisnow’s Dealmaker of the Year at the media outlet’s Toronto Women Leading Real Estate
She also actively contributes to the industry’s growth and development, serving on the board of SIOR’s Canada Centrral chapter.
