BGO’s Orzel Supports Major National Real Estate Investments
Serves as Associate, Investments with BGO's Real Estate Investment Team
Has Supported Several Key Projects
Steven Orzel serves as associate, investments on BGO’s real estate investment team. His responsibilities include financial analysis and valuation, market research, coordination of due diligence, and preparation of investment committee materials and other internal documents.
Orzel has supported several key projects, including Oceanic Plaza, a marquee office complex in downtown Vancouver; Blueprint Residences, a multi-family complex in Victoria; and Rockwood Mall, a retail complex in Mississauga.
In all these transactions, Orzel oversaw underwriting and co-ordinated complex due-diligence processes.
His industry activities have included helping to organize BGO’s fun run and quarterly happy hour with BGO leadership, both of which have been valuable in fostering connectivity and community across the team.
He is active with NAIOP, ULI and BILD, and is a member of the NAIOP Development Challenge Board.
In the community, Orzel served as a BGO representative and lead organizer within the firm for the annual Breakthrough T1D Canada Real Estate Ride. He also participated in Skate for the Kids, a hockey tournament fundraiser for SickKids.
These are just a few reasons why we chose Steven Orzel as of the 2026 Canadian Next Generation Award winners. The annual awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
