Won CBRE Rookie of the Year and Western Canada Emerging Leader Awards
Travis Blanleil is a real estate advisor with CBRE specializing in industrial property acquisitions, dispositions and leasing throughout Metro Vancouver and British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley.
Since joining CBRE in 2019. he has helped the firm broker more than $883 million worth of transactions. He began with CBRE as an industrial sales trainee before moving to the sales floor in 2020 and later joining the Metro Vancouver industrial team alongside top producer Chris MacCauley in 2022.
Blanleil has quickly established himself as a rising performer within the brokerage industry. In 2023, he was named CBRE Western Canada’s Rookie of the Year, recognizing the top-producing advisor with less than five years of brokerage experience. A year earlier, he received the CBRE Western Canada Emerging Leader Award, recognizing his client service, work ethic and leadership potential.
Before entering commercial real estate, Blanleil attended University of Vermont, where he studied finance and economics while competing as a student-athlete. He played four seasons on the school’s NCAA Division I men’s hockey team and served as alternate captain for three years, developing skills in leadership, communication and accountability.
Blanleil has been involved in significant transaction activity as part of his team’s growth. In 2023 alone, his team advised on and negotiated 63 transactions involving 5.7 million square feet of industrial space, representing more than $881 million in transaction value.
These are just a few reasons why we chose Travis Blanleil as one of the 2026 Canadian Next Generation Award winners. The annual awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
